Not at all. You don’t need to choose a therapy, just book a time that suits you. Abbey will work intuitively on the day, combining techniques based on how your body presents. Massage, Bowen, EFT, reflexology, and energy work may all be blended in.

Sessions are available in:

  • 90 minutes – ideal for full-body work and nervous system reset
  • 2 hours – for deeper work, energetic integration, or emotional support

Your initial session will take approximately 15-20mins longer than a usual session. So, for your first booking, please select “initial consultation” and allow yourself plenty of time.

Abbey’s current pricing is as follows, and is current as of November 2025. Please check back regularly, as prices are subject to change. It is important to note that some Health Fund Rebates are available. Please check with Abbey if your fund is eligible. Payment is due at the time of treatment.

Yes, and in fact, that’s Abbey’s approach. Each session is intuitively integrative, meaning multiple modalities may be included depending on your body’s needs that day.

Yes. First-time clients will be asked to complete a brief, confidential intake form. This helps Abbey understand your health background and support your session safely and effectively.

That’s completely okay, you’re not expected to know. You’re welcome to come as you are, with uncertainty, tension, emotion, or curiosity. Abbey’s role is to listen to what your body is saying and respond with care.

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations with less notice may incur a fee. Life happens, so just reach out if something shifts.

Yes. Gift vouchers are available for both session lengths and can be customised for any occasion. You can purchase one online or request one via email or phone.

Yes. Abbey’s work is trauma-aware and gently supportive of people navigating stress, grief, or overwhelm. You’re never pushed to share, but you’ll be held with care if something arises.

That’s completely normal. Sometimes the body releases tension, emotion, or old energy during or after healing work. You might feel lighter — or just different.

This is sometimes called a “healing response”, and it usually settles within 24–48 hours.

Drink water, rest if you can, and trust your body’s process. Abbey is always available if you have concerns.

A healing crisis is a temporary shift in the body’s balance, sometimes emotional, sometimes physical, as old patterns release and the system recalibrates. It’s not harmful, but can feel intense.

Abbey works gently to avoid overwhelm. You’ll never be pushed. If anything arises, it’s welcome, but not forced.
