Learn More about Intuitive Healing Therapy.
Whether you’re coming for your first session or returning after time away, this page is here to gently walk you through what happens, from arrival to leaving relaxed. Each session is unique, but the approach is always the same: grounded, intuitive, and led by what your body reveals on the day.
You’ll be asked to complete a short, confidential intake form before your first session. This helps Abbey understand any relevant health history or areas of concern.
You’ll then have a few minutes to settle in, share how you’re feeling, and begin the session without pressure.
Your initial session will take 15-20mins longer than a usual session. So, if you are booking to see Abbey for a first visit, please select “initial consultation” and allow yourself for plenty of time.
You’re always welcome to rest, speak, cry, or ask questions. You remain in control at all times.
Every appointment begins with:
You may receive your treatment fully clothed, or Abbey may ask you to remove layers down to your underwear. Your privacy and modesty is always completely respected. Dress in something comfortable and suited to the weather.
Abbey then draws from a range of modalities: massage, Bowen, Emmett, reflexology, EFT tapping, Access Bars® , and energy healing, woven together intuitively based on your body’s needs.
No two sessions are the same. You don’t need to choose a treatment, your body leads.
Please contact Abbey directly for current pricing.
Rates reflect the depth, experience, and time offered and payment is required at the time of service.
Gift vouchers are now also available, and ideal for meaningful, experience-based gift-giving.
Clients often leave feeling grounded, lighter, clearer… or simply different.
Healing responses can vary, and it’s perfectly normal to need rest, water, or quiet afterwards.
Abbey may offer suggestions for aftercare, reflection, or integration, but you won’t leave with homework unless you ask for it.
Whistling Kite Healing Therapies offers complementary wellness services and does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. Abbey’s work is intended to support the whole person: physically, emotionally, and energetically, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.
For full terms, please see the Terms & Conditions page. Whether you’re seeking pain relief, emotional calm, or simply a pause, Abbey’s work will meet you with care, not pressure.
You don’t have to be ready. You just have to be willing.
